I’m Nicolas, a passionate data scientist with a diverse background in industrial engineering, business intelligence, data engineering and software development. I have accumulated experience in executing data projects, showcasing proficiency in various areas such as exploratory data analysis, data processing, and the creation of machine learning models. Currenlty I am leading the development of Generative AI projects in Five1. Additionally, I specialize in frontend software development using Type/Javascript and React.

Work Experience

Five1 @ Senior Data Scientist | GenAI Technical Lead (Feb. 2024 - Present)

• Leading the topic Generative AI in the company.
• Generated and conducted Workshops for clients as Pre-Sales activity, leading to the acquirement of projects for the company.
• Currently working in multiple Generative AI projects, focus points on advanced RAG Systems and Multi-Agentic designed applications using Langgraph.
• Engaged in various data science projects in as consultant, focusing on ML-related tasks, delivering solutions to clients.

• Involved in various backend and frontend tasks, contributing to projects like a “Next Product To Buy” Recommender System, predicting the financial strength of clients for precise mailing campaigns and the brand affinity for an improved ranking system.
• Worked on front-end tasks for an internal Customer Agent Tool using Typescript and React.

Memorable @ AI Residence (May 2022 - June 2022)

• Participated in a one-month program, supporting in the development of computer vision models on the cloud to enhance cognitive impact in images for effective advertisements.

Wabi Project @ Business Intelligence Manager (Dec. 2021 - May 2022)

• Took on the role of Business Intelligence Manager, enhancing Python skills for data analysis and optimizing processes.
• Reports automated with Apache Airflow for topics including fraud detection, revenue analysis, and marketing KPIs.

Wabi Project @ B2B Product Business Manager (May 2021 - May 2022)

• Participated in the development team for a B2B digital grocery shopping platform, of a Coca Cola-funded startup, as Product Owner, gaining leadership skills, working in agile methodology and prioritizing the backlog.

Air Liquide @ Data Analyst (April 2020 - Jan 2021)

• Developed unified dashboard reports using Power BI, Excel Macros, for the entire sales team of the country (🇦🇷).

Current Focus

Revolves around ML-related projects, driven by the endless possibilities it offers. I’m particularly fascinated by advancements in Gen AI.
