I’m Nicolas, a passionate data scientist with a diverse background in industrial engineering, business intelligence, data engineering and software development. I have accumulated experience in executing data projects, showcasing proficiency in various areas such as exploratory data analysis, data processing, and the creation of machine learning models. Additionally, I specialize in frontend software development using Type/Javascript and React.

• Certified as a Cloud Practitioner in AWS.
• Engaged in various data science projects in as consultant, focusing on ML-related tasks, delivering solutions to clients.

Check24 @ Data Engineer / Data Scientist / Frontend Developer (June 2022 - Nov. 2023)

• Involved in various backend and frontend tasks, contributing to projects like a “Next Product To Buy” Recommender System, predicting the financial strength of clients for precise mailing campaigns and the brand affinity for an improved ranking system.
• Worked on front-end tasks for an internal Customer Agent Tool using Typescript and React.

Memorable @ AI Residence (May 2022 - June 2022)

• Participated in a one-month program, supporting in the development of computer vision models on the cloud to enhance cognitive impact in images for effective advertisements.

Wabi Project @ Business Intelligence Manager (Dec. 2021 - May 2022)

• Took on the role of Business Intelligence Manager, enhancing Python skills for data analysis and optimizing processes.
• Reports automated with Apache Airflow for topics including fraud detection, revenue analysis, and marketing KPIs.

• Participated in the development team for a B2B digital grocery shopping platform, of a Coca Cola-funded startup, as Product Owner, gaining leadership skills, working in agile methodology and prioritizing the backlog.

• Developed unified dashboard reports using Power BI, Excel Macros, for the entire sales team of the country (🇦🇷).

Projects

The Legal Compass @ Co-Founder

• Leveraging LLMs, developed an gen AI chatbot enhanced by using RAG pipelines in order to deliver through factual knowledge, a more precise and agile methodology of work for lawyers.

Malerei @ Co-Founder

• Founded a small business selling digital art done with Neural Style Transfer.

Current Focus

Revolves around ML-related projects, driven by the endless possibilities it offers. I’m particularly fascinated by advancements in Gen AI.
